Senior Interactive Designer, 7/02 – 5/05
- Designed, developed, deployed online versions of a magazine for customers – including forms that capture subscription info, and feedback from users.
- Migrated registration forms on several microsites from ColdFusion to ASP/SQL using stored procedures, and leveraging Staples applications to encrypt and decrypt credit card information.
- Maintained over 90 microsites, and followed Staples corporate policies for QA, and file pushes – including code control procedures.
- Designed UI, graphics and delivered HTML prototypes for new features on StaplesLink.com – (Staples business to business ecommerce site). New features included package tracking, budgeting, product comparison, search enhancements, and special offers.
- Created custom “microsites” for various customers.
- Designed and developed various tools to aid sales reps and marketing (ASP, PHP, SQL and MySQL). For example:
- Developed a tool that generates an HTML email that sales representatives would then send to their customers.
- Developed a tool that created a custom HTML email that included a formatted pricelist that was generated from a CSV file that sales representatives had uploaded.
- Created an online form that took in and tracked requests to put customer logos on particular logins for StaplesLink.
- Created a tool that took a CSV file and formatted it to specifications that marketing provided.
